attraction to all things uncertain
Jun. 18th, 2008 09:07 pmAt some point, I have enough of everything. Participating life - social calls, work, conversations with people who don't change and those who have drifted away, the daily routine, confusion. Yes, it was an exhausting weekend in my home town. And when I can't take it any more, when I must smash something with a bang or hide my head in arms with a whimper, I put on industrial music.
Tweaker released two albums: The Attraction To All Things Uncertain (2001) and 2 A. M. Wakeup Call (2004). What I hear, is not very far from Nine Inch Nails; seems less agressive though. Perhaps because the instrumental part of the material is considerably larger. Or because the guest vocalists (Robert Smith, my beloved David Sylvian and others) create different moods. It is, however, similarly sombre and melancholy. And I do love darkness of one's troubled mind.
