The Comsat Angels are exactly what you might expect from me these days, meaning a yet-another-forgotten-post-punk-new-wave-eighties band. They played, especially on the first three albums, rather superb rock that could be placed in the same league with Joy Division or The Chameleons. Sleep No More (released 1981) is a bit rough and darker but gods, I adore "Our Secret". Fiction (1982) might as well be their best work; for me it can easily compete with The Chameleons' Script Of The Bridge or The Cure's Pornography.
